ASWA Undergraduate Scholarships for Accountants. The American Society of Women Accountants (ASWA) was formed in 1938 to increase the opportunities for women in all fields of accounting and finance. The first chapter was chartered in Indianapolis, Indiana. Members of The American Society of Women Accountants and their companies benefit from practical resources and benefit programs that strengthen their professional growth.
The mission of ASWA is to enable women in all accounting and related fields to achieve their full personal, professional and economic potential and to contribute to the future development of their profession.
The American Society of Women Accountants represents professional women in accounting and finance and provides them an opportunity for networking and continuing professional education (CPE) with peers at the local, regional and national level.

The 2012-2013 ASWA Educational Foundation scholarships that are to be awarded in May 2012 are as follows:
Undergraduate Scholarships
To support the costs of attending 3rd, 4th, or 5th year when pursuing an accounting or finance degree.
Master's Scholarships
For those attending an accredited College or University enrolled in a master's program, and is pursuing an accounting or finance degree.
