MBA Student Broadcaster Scholarship Program. Greetings, and welcome to the Massachusetts Broadcasters Association (MBA) online. Through this website we aim to provide the broadcasting community with information about our organization, its members, and the broadcast industry as a whole.

A free resource, the job bank provides visitors with an updated list of potential job opportunities, as well as the opportunity to post a resume to be viewed by radio and television stations seeking new employees.

In addition, our site is student-friendly and includes information about available internship opportunities and the MBA Student Broadcaster Scholarship Program. Applications are now available for the 2012- 2013 MBA Student Broadcaster Scholarship Program.

Who is Eligible to apply MBA Student Broadcaster Scholarship Program:
Students who are permanent residents of Massachusetts and are in the process of enrolling, or are currently enrolled, at an accredited institution of higher learning are encouraged to apply for a $2,000 scholarship. Such institutions include vocational schools, 2- or 4-year colleges or universities offering degrees in radio and television broadcasting. Applying students must meet their school’s status of a full-time student. The school does not need to be within the Bay State.

How will award recipients be selected?
The selection process for scholarships will take into account such factors as financial need, academic merit, community service, extra-curricular activities, and work experience. Highest priority will be given to students with the most limited financial resources. Student applications are reviewed and selected by broadcasters who are participating members of the Massachusetts Broadcasters Association Student Broadcaster Scholarship Program.

All applications must be completed and mailed to the MBA at 43 Riverside Ave. PMB 401 Medford, MA 02155 by Friday, March 30, 2012. Incomplete, faxed, emailed or late applications will not be accepted.
