National Technical Honor Society Scholarship - $1,000 | Deadline April 1, 2012

National Technical Honor Society Scholarship. SkillsUSA has teamed up with the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) to promote outstanding student achievement within career and technical education. SkillsUSA is encouraging chapters to consider participation in the honor society as part of their annual program of work. The NTHS has 3,000 member schools and colleges, and it contributes to a positive image for technical education in the community. Students who join the honor society should demonstrate academic achievement, skills development, leadership, honesty, responsibility, and good character.


The National Technical Honor Society has a mission to honor student achievement and leadership, promote educational excellence, and enhance career opportunities for technical students. They provide recognition for excellence in technical education and create occupational opportunities for America's top workforce education students.

NTHS Scholarships for SkillsUSA Members
NTHS will award four $1,000 scholarships to SkillsUSA members at the SkillsUSA National Leadership Conference. Two scholarships will be awarded to high school members, and two scholarships will be awarded to college/postsecondary members.
To be eligible, students must be active, dues-paying members of both SkillsUSA and NTHS. To apply, schools must have an active NTHS chapter, which includes submission of a charter application and approval from the school administration.
In the event that a qualified college/postsecondary member is not recommended by the scholarship committee, the available college/postsecondary scholarships will be awarded to high school students instead.
