Moss Adams Foundation Scholarship. This scholarship is being sponsored by Moss Adams, formally Rowling, Dold & Associates LLP, a woman-owned CPA firm in San Diego, California, which provides tax, financial, and investment services to clients on a fee-only basis. This is a one-year scholarship award in the amount of $1,000, which is available to women enrolled in an accounting program at an accredited college or university.

The Moss Adams Foundation awards a one-year scholarship in the amount of $1,000 annually, which is available to women enrolled in an accounting program at an accredited college or university. It was formerly known as the Rowling, Dold & Associates LLP Scholarship. The name change resulted from the merger of that firm with Moss Adams LLP.

Moss Adams Foundation Scholarship Individuals eligible for this award will be:
1. Women returning to school as current or reentry juniors or seniors, or

2. Women pursuing their fifth year requirement through either general studies or within a graduate program or

3. Minority women.

Moss Adams Foundation Scholarship Application Process:
1. Complete page 1 of the application form and all attachments as outlined on page 2.

2. Applicants may be contacted to participate in a personal interview or conference call.

Moss Adams Foundation Scholarship Selection Criteria:
1. Commitment to the goal of pursuing a degree in accounting, including evidence of continued commitment after receiving the award

2. Aptitude for accounting and business
3. Clear evidence that the candidate has established goals and a plan for achieving those goals, both personal and professional

4. Financial need
5. Demonstration of how the scholarship will impact her life.

Moss Adams Foundation Scholarship Responsibilities of Recipients:
1. The scholarship recipient must provide proof of academic progress at the end of each semester or term.

2. The recipient must provide a written update for the committee at the end of her scholarship year on her progress toward her personal and professional goals, and the impact of the scholarship on her life.

3. Finally, the recipient should prepare for the possibility of appearances at regional and national accounting conferences where she might be asked to make a presentation.
Applications must be postmarked by April 30. Scholarship recipients will be selected by June 30.
